Martin Tucker
Managing Partner, Interim Leadership, Executive Search & Assessment
Martin has been working with organisations in both the public and private sectors since 1993, helping them attract and retain high calibre people. His early career saw him work with mainly ‘blue chip’ international businesses in London, Europe and for three years in Sydney, Australia. Since 2000 his work has focused on the public sector in the UK and local authorities in particular where he has worked closely with his clients to hire Board Members, Chief Executives, Directors and Assistant Directors.
Helen Marshall
Senior Consultant, Interim Leadership
Helen joined GatenbySanderson in October 2008 as a Senior Consultant on the Interim Leadership team. Prior to joining GatenbySanderson, Helen successfully established her own financial recruitment company in the West Midlands before joining a leading national financial recruiter where she was responsible for opening and managing a Midlands office appointing senior finance professionals. Helen is also a fluent Welsh speaker.
Helen will be focusing on the delivery of assignments in the Midlands and Wales, providing senior executives for interim and consultancy project roles across Local Government, Housing, RDAs and Partnerships.
Zoe Whitehead
Senior Consultant, Interim Leadership
Zoe has recently moved from our Executive Serach team where she has been involved in the recruitment of numerous Chief Executives, Executive Directors, Heads of Service and Assistant Directors within Local Government and the broader public sector. This has included working with county, unitary, met and district councils, Housing organisations waste authorities, regulatory organisations and the voluntary sector. She has recruited across all disciplines, being a generalist, with a broad portfolio of clients.
During her career she has been involved in major restructuring work in Housing and Local Government, including most recently project managing the internal assimilation process and external recruitment for the top 2 tiers of the two new unitary authorities in Cheshire (58 posts).
Catherine Taylor
Senior Consultant, Interim Leadership
Catherine joined GatenbySanderson in May 2011 to become a member of the Interim leadership team, working in a job share with Rachel Osborne. Catherine has covered all aspects of recruitment. Starting her career in a recruitment consultancy, this followed with the completion of a Masters in Occupational Psychology. Catherine became an interim HR Recruitment Specialist in organisations as diverse as QUANGOs and Financial Services. Her skill set includes: competency based assessment, project management and managing / reviewing strategic and operational recruitment processes.
HR Projects included the vendor management of a recruitment spend of £5million across multi disciplinary suppliers. This project included working with a global procurement team to align recruitment processes across the whole group. Her latest project involved outplacement and career coaching within public sector organisations.
