Double First for GatenbySanderson Interim Leadership in Government framework success
Executive recruiter GatenbySanderson today confirmed that it has been appointed to the new Buying Solutions framework agreement for Non Permanent Staff. The framework, which replaces the former agreement for Interim Managers and Specialist Contractors, manages the supply of interims to Central Government and whole of the public sector. GatenbySanderson is now one of only four ‘Buying Solutions’ suppliers that can provide executive level interims to government departments, including the following : the Home Office, HM Treasury, Department of Health, DEFRA, Ministry of Defence, Cabinet Office, Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Department for Transport.
Danny Hodgson, Head of Interim Leadership for GatenbySanderson commented, “We are absolutely delighted to have been appointed as one of the four suppliers for Board and Executive interims. To have been successfully accredited reflects the hard work and investment we have made in our interim business and candidates over the last three years. This builds upon our previous success in being appointed as a Buying Solutions supplier for Non-Medical, Non-Clinical senior interims. We feel very well placed to grow this market significantly and look forward to working with these key departments in a time of major change.
When questioned about the immediate recruitment market, Graham Goodwin, Chairman of GatenbySanderson continued, “In an unprecedented period within the public sector, where major reforms are to be achieved with extreme financial discipline, we expect demand for interims to increase, as organisations strive to deliver immediate efficiencies without increasing long term overheads. We also expect much greater use of procurement frameworks where commitment on both sides allows much greater efficiencies and continued investment from suppliers in terms of technology, service provision and their talent pool. We are committed to working with the public sector and this success underlines these intentions.
